Agency management system integrations

An agency management system should connect to the few services an agency actually runs on, and say plainly which ones it does not. These are the integrations available in Agency Nexus today. The ones that connect the agency's own accounts — Twilio, Google Drive, Stripe, an SMTP server — stay off until the agency sets them up.

Bringing a book in

API

NowCerts

Direct connection to the NowCerts API. No manual export.

CSV

Applied Epic

Policy and client exports, mapped into Agency Nexus records.

CSV

Vertafore AMS360

Policy and client exports, mapped into Agency Nexus records.

CSV

HawkSoft

Policy and client exports, mapped into Agency Nexus records.

CSV

Any other system

Any CSV export or spreadsheet, with column mapping.

Commission statements in NowCerts' own column layout are recognised without any mapping. The migration article covers what has to happen to a book between the export and the first day of work.

SMS and email

  • Twilio, for SMS. Automated text messages, such as the renewal reminders at 90, 60 and 45 days, are sent through Twilio.
  • Resend or the agency's own SMTP server, for email. Certificates, reminders and notifications go out through Resend, or through an SMTP server the agency configures, from an address the agency sets.

Documents and signatures

  • Google Drive. A client can be linked to a Google Drive folder, so the files the agency already keeps there stay attached to that client.
  • E-signature, built in. Signature requests are part of Agency Nexus, not a separate subscription: a document goes to the signer by email, and the request records who signed, when and from which IP address.

Payments

An agency can connect its own Stripe account and create a payment link for an invoice, so the insured pays the agency directly and the money never passes through Sourcy.

The agency's website

  • Lead forms. A form published on the agency's website creates a prospect and an opportunity in the CRM when someone submits it, with bot protection, a honeypot field and a submission rate limit.
  • Chat widget. An AI assistant the agency configures and embeds on its website with a snippet of code, to answer visitors and capture leads.

The REST API

Agency Nexus has a REST API for the agency's own integrations and AI agents. It reads clients, policies and upcoming renewals, and reads and writes tasks and client notes.

  • Tokens belong to a user. They are created in the agency settings, and each token acts with the live role of the user who created it, checked again on every request.
  • Scopes cap what a token can do: read, write or full.
  • The agency boundary is absolute. A token only reaches its own agency's data, and sensitive fields such as SSN, FEIN, bank details, commission and payroll are never returned.
  • Rate limited to 60 requests per minute per token.

What is not integrated today

Buyers comparing systems deserve a straight list. Agency Nexus does not offer these today:

  • automatic carrier downloads through IVANS;
  • a comparative rater for quoting;
  • an accounting sync with QuickBooks;
  • a Zapier connector;
  • a native mobile app — Agency Nexus runs in the browser on phones and tablets.

If one of these decides the choice for your agency, that is worth knowing before a migration, not after it.
